From Sandersville, take SR88 to Wrens. Just South of Wrens, turn left from SR88 onto US1 North. Proceed through Wrens and then towards Augusta on US1 North. As you are entering the Augusta area, you will come to the US1/I-520 (Bobby Jones Expressway) Interchange. Go under I-520 (Bobby Jones Expressway) and immediately exit from US1 by taking a right on the loop ramp. Follow the loop up to I-520 (BJE) and proceed on I-520 (BJE) for approximately 4 1/2 miles to the Wheeler Road interchange. (Note: The Wheeler Road interchange will be the third interchange you come to on I-520/BJE following the Gordon Highway Interchange and the Wrightsboro Road interchange). Take the Wheeler Road exit ramp from I-520 (BJE). At the end of the exit ramp, take a left turn from the ramp onto Wheeler Road. Continue on Wheeler Road crossing back over I-520/BJE and then straight on Wheeler Road for approximately 2 miles until you come to the Wheeler Road /I-20 interchange. Still on Wheeler Road, go through the interchange crossing over I-20, then Wheeler Road goes to the left, but you need to bear right and follow Flowing Wells Road. Go approximately 1 mile on Flowing Wells Road, and the Augusta Prep entrance will be on your left. Allow 1 ½ hours for travel time.
